Vicente Jimenez recognized for his academic leadership at EHS

This week a teacher at Elba High School has recommended an Elba High School student for an academic spotlight. This student must obtain good grades, be involved in clubs/activities, and be an active leader in his or her school and community.
The student that has received this academic spotlight is Vicente Jimenez.
Vicente is a senior at Elba this year and is an outstanding student. He is a member of Senior Beta, Co-Lead of Ambassadors, President of Interact, Treasurer of FBLA, Secretary for FCCLA, and Secretary in Skills U.S.A.
While participating in all of these extracurricular activities, Vicente has planned and executed many events which have helped the school as well as the community, while keeping his grades at A’s in Honors Classes.  When seen around the halls of Elba High, Vicente always has a smile for teachers and fellow students alike.
One teacher commented, “Vicente has an attitude and work ethic that other students would do well to emulate.”
