it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to resign as the Elba Football coach and retire from 27 years of public school teaching. I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to coach some of the greatest kids and work with some outstanding coaches. The support this town shows on Friday Nights is second to none. I will be leaving with wonderful memories and so many new friends. Elba is truly a special place!
To all of our players, past and preset, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and heart. Each of you have contributed to this program in a great way and I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved together. I am even more excited to see you grow into successful men in life.
I want to thank all of the staff at Elba High School who support this team in so many ways. Having so many people willing to help played a huge role in providing a great experience for our boys.
To the Elba Community, thank you for all of your support. Our plays truly love playing for you in the MACK! All of you make winning at Tiger Stadium a very tough thing to do for our opponents.
