The Elba City Schools board members attended the winter AASB convention this past week! We appreciate them continuing to further their education to help make Elba City Schools the best!

The Elba Career Academy’s electrical students gained valuable hands-on experience today. Thank you to Excel Electric and Whaley Construction for hosting our students on the job site and providing an inside look at real-world trade work. We also appreciate The City of Elba for supplying part of our PPE for the day, including safety vests. It was an excellent learning opportunity for our students and a great partnership within our community.

Congratulations to our welding students. Jaden Baker passed his 3G GMAW, earning his second certification. Ethan Danley passed his 3G FCAW, earning his first certification.

Join in the spirit of giving by bringing your unexpired canned foods to the Elba Christmas Parade on December 13th! Keep an eye out for our cheerful giving float, and we'll happily collect your donations as we make our way along the parade route.

Students with perfect attendance got to make a splash today — literally! Their reward was dunking some of their favorite teachers and staff in the dunking booth.

**Red Bus will not be running this afternoon Tuesday October 21, due to not having a driver. If your child rides Red Bus we ask that if you are able to please come and pick up your child after school. Red bus will also be running late again in the morning, Wednesday October 22. Again we apologize for the inconvenience.

Also if you or someone you know is interested in becoming a bus driver, please drop by Central Office and we will get you started with the process.**
