Students and faculty from across the system were in attendance, and we truly enjoyed the energy, talent, and excitement they brought to our campus. Representatives from each Career and Technical Student Organization at The Elba Career Academy attended the Coffee County Commission meeting, where they were honored to receive a proclamation recognizing February as Career and Technical Education Month.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Coffee County Commission for their support of career and technical education and for inviting our students to participate in this special occasion. Opportunities like this help highlight the importance of preparing students with the skills and experiences needed for future success.

Today, Elba City Schools was proud to participate in a Professional Learning Day provided by the Alabama State Department of Education focused on The Collaborative Roadmap: Navigating Pre-Referral to IEP Implementation.
This training strengthened our understanding of the pre-referral process and effective IEP implementation as we continue working together to support every student’s success.

The Elba Career Academy is excited to share how proud we are of all of our SkillsUSA participants! We are especially proud to announce that Earl Tolentino who placed 1st and Mateo Jimenez who placed 2nd at the district competition will now advance to the State Competition in Birmingham. We would also like to recognize Ethan Danley. We are proud of his hard work, dedication, and commitment to representing The Elba Career Academy. Congratulations to these students for their outstanding achievements, and we wish them the best of luck as they represent The Elba Career Academy at the state level!

Purple Bus will be running late in the morning, Friday February 6, due to not having a driver to cover the route. We ask that if you have any way to get your child to school by an alternate route in the morning please do so.
