Elba won big at the FCCLA State Conference this week in Montgomery. Members of the Elba FCCLA Chapter competed in STAR Events at the Alabama State Leadership Conference this week. STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Events challenge students to develop leadership, career skills, and confidence while stepping out of their comfort zones. These competitions push them to speak in front of judges, think critically, and showcase their hard work—all invaluable life skills that will serve them well beyond high school. Every single student gave their best effort, and it was incredible to watch them grow, take on challenges, and achieve success. This is what FCCLA is all about—empowering students and shaping future leaders!
