Today’s teacher inservice was filled with energy, purpose, and inspiration! We kicked off the school year with powerful words from our very own Superintendent, Mr. Donny Powell, reminding us of our mission and the impact we have every day.

Elbala Yearbooks have arrived! They will be given to students who ordered the first few days of school. **We have several extra yearbooks available if you didn't get your order in. The cost is $55 and are first come first serve! Come by to purchase a 2024-2025 yearbook.

We had a blast seeing all the new faces at Elba Elementary's Kindergarten Jumpstart this morning! It's almost that time!

We had a wonderful night at our Back to School Bash! Thanks everyone for coming out and thanks to everyone who helped put this together! It's great to be an Elba Tiger!

‼️Update for the Back to School Bash Tomorrow ‼️ The event has been moved to the Elba High School gym! We will have indoor activities, food, and school supplies available! Come out and join us for the fun!

📢 7th Grade Orientation Update! We’ve moved our 7th Grade Orientation to Monday, August 11, from 5:00–7:00 PM. This event will now happen together with our Open House for grades 8–12, giving families a great opportunity to meet teachers and see the school at the beginning of the school year. Student schedules will be: Available on the first day of school Viewable anytime in the PowerSchool app We can’t wait to welcome our students and families back! 🖤💛

There will be a football parent meeting tomorrow night, Thursday July 31! 6:00 PM in the high school cafeteria. Go Tigers!

The Elba City School Board of Education recognized Jay Wilson at its regularly scheduled meeting tonight for his individual Golf State Championship. Congratulations Jay! We are so proud of you and your accomplishments!

Please don’t Percussion, Danceline, & Colorguard Camp July 14,15-17 (5:00 pm-9:00 pm) This is for All auxiliaries, Drumline and Front Ensemble Band Camp: This is for EVERYBODY! July 21-23 & July 28-31 (1:00 pm-9:00 pm) Wednesday's (1:00 pm-4:30 pm) Band Camp Showcase Thursday, July 31st at 7:30 pm EHS Auditorium! What to wear: Short, t-shirts, tennis shoes. What to bring: instrument, water or gatorade We will be inside 1-4 and outside 6-9. No sunscreen should be necessary. *Again, All dates are mandatory* See you all soon!! 👕 Updated Dress Code – Please review the Elba City Schools dress code to ensure students are dressed for success and in compliance with district expectations.

📅 Attendance Policy Changes – We have made a few important updates to our attendance policy. These changes are designed to support student learning by promoting consistent, on-time attendance.
